The Art rush

Like hard sciences, social sciences are showing an ever-growing interest in artistic creation. From its beginnings, the Mobile Lives Forum has encouraged this approach and worked to develop hybrid studies combining analytical, aesthetic and artistic viewpoints, giving rise to new perspectives.

While this approach is exciting, its implementation is delicate: should artistic creation serve as a complement to scientific work or be used as a method of investigation in its own right? Is its relationship to reality on par with that of science? How do you link these two worlds and build a dialogue between two languages so seemingly different? These questions are open and should be debated. Come share your thoughts with us today on our blogs!
